Peachtree City Little Libraries is a 503 (c) non-profit organization that originally came about as part of a Girl Scout gold award project. Due to the pandemic, the gold award was unable to be completed in time. That set back did not dampen the determination of this High School senior who along with her family decided to make a long term difference and build not just one but a number of little libraries of their own but also develop a shared network of little libraries within the Peachtree City community. Today, Peachtree City Little Library operates 3 little libraries (with 3 more slated for 2nd Quarter, 2021) and supports nearly 20 others by exchanging books, restocking books, and helping maintain little libraries throughout our area.
Peachtree City Little Libraries currently owns and manages several little libraries in the Peachtree City Area.

Peachtree City Little Libraries accepts donations of books, DVD's, CD's, & Games/Puzzles. Donated items are placed in little libraries throughout our community and neighboring communities. All items are inspected and books that are deemed severely (beyond all hope of repair) damaged are recycled to schools, clubs, and churches for art projects. Occasionally, books that show little interest will be removed and donated to charities who in turn use them as a teaching aid in other countries.
Q: What is your affiliation with the city of Peachtree City or the Peachtree City Library?
A: None, Peachtree City Little Libraries in no way is affiliated with either the city of Peachtree City or Peachtree City Library. We do have permission to place our little libraries on "approved" city property through an agreement with the parks department but all maintenance and repairs is our responsibility and the city may request us to move or remove any of our libraries with extremely short notice.
Q: I own a little library and no longer want it, will you take it?
A: Yes, Peachtree City Little Libraries will be more than happy to accept your donation. We will work with you to determine the most acceptable solution which could involve keeping the library where it currently is and taking over ownership and maintenance or relocating the library to a new home.
Q: What does it mean, "Always a gift, Never for resale"
A: Simply put, there is never a charge for a book in a little library. All books we receive are donated to us and we return that by placing them inside little libraries where anyone can obtain a book without cost.
