Welcome to TaskUp! We at Rauma Studio ("we," "us," or "our") respect your privacy and want you to understand how we handle your information. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we need it, and how we protect it.
By using our app, TaskUp, you agree to this policy.
1. Information We Collect
We only collect information that is essential to make the app work and to send you your rewards.
A. Information you give us:
Google Sign-In: When you create an account, you log in using your Google account. We receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google to create and secure your TaskUp account.
Withdrawal Information: When you want to cash out your earnings, we will ask for your:
Email Address: To send you Google Play, Amazon, or Flipkart gift cards.
UPI ID: To send you real money via UPI apps (like PhonePe, Google Pay, BHIM).
Support & Feedback: When you contact us or fill out our support forms, we collect the information you provide (like screenshots or query details).
B. Information we get from your use of the app:
Device & IDs: We and our partners (like Google AdMob) may collect device identifiers (such as Advertising ID, Android ID) to show you personalized ads and prevent fraud.
Notifications: We ask for permission to send you push notifications to alert you about new tasks or important account updates. You can turn this off anytime in your phone's settings.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your data for very specific purposes:
To create and manage your account.
To track your completed tasks and credit your earnings correctly.
To process your withdrawals and send you your rewards (gift cards or UPI payments).
To communicate with you about your account or support requests.
To show advertisements, which helps us keep the app free and pay for the rewards.
3. How We Share Your Information
Your trust is important to us. We do not sell your personal data. We only share your information in these specific cases:
To Pay You: We may share your email or UPI ID with our payment processors or banks solely to complete your withdrawal transaction.
With Ad Partners: We share non-personal information (like your advertising ID) with our ad partners so they can show you ads.
For Legal Reasons: If required by law, we may have to share your information with law enforcement.
4. Data Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information. Your withdrawal data (email/UPI ID) is handled securely only when needed for payment. However, please remember that no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
5. Children's Privacy
TaskUp is not intended for anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we discover that a child under 18 has provided us with personal information, we will immediately delete this from our servers.
6. Account Deletion (Data Deletion Request)
You have the right to request the deletion of your account and associated data at any time. We provide two easy ways to do this:
Option 1: In-App Deletion (Easiest) If you still have the app installed, you can delete your account instantly:
Open the TaskUp App.
Go to Settings (or Profile).
Click on Delete Account.
Confirm your choice. Your data will be scheduled for deletion immediately.
Option 2: Web Request (If app is uninstalled) If you have uninstalled the app but want to delete your data, please use our official support form:
What happens after deletion:
We will verify your identity.
We will permanently delete your personal information (Name, Email, Photo) from our active databases within 30 days.
Note: We may retain certain transaction records (proof of payments made to you) for a limited period as required by tax and accounting laws.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy in the app.
