The Soulmate
The Soulmate
In a conversation with someone about twin flames and soulmates, the person chose soulmate instead of twin flame. It was new to me to hear someone prefer a soulmate over a twin flame. But the more I look into it, the more I find people who prefer their soulmate instead of their twin flame. Why? Most of the time, it's because their relationship with their twin is very intense—almost toxic (it said). This could be because they are very similar, which causes conflicts, or because the relationship feels forbidden for some reason (e.g., the other has a commitment to someone else).
If I were to describe it, I would say that a soulmate brings more peace and aligns with who we are, ultimately complementing our lives in a positive way. It’s not as intense or awakening as the twin flame relationship. I would describe it as a supportive relationship that feels like a breath of fresh air. Most people are married to their soulmate, right? So, the question often arises: How do you know if someone is the right person you're looking for?
Some signs that you’ve found your soulmate include an instinctive feeling of familiarity, effortless communication, and shared values. You might feel like you've known them forever, with conversations flowing naturally and a sense of comfort. A soulmate often shows mutual understanding, supports each other's growth, and makes you feel safe and comfortable being yourself.
Here are some indicators that you might have already found your soulmate:
Immediate Recognition: An instinctive sense of knowing and understanding beyond words.
Easy Communication: Conversations feel natural and timeless.
Aligned Values: Sharing similar outlooks and core beliefs.
Mutual Support: Recognizing and empathizing with each other's feelings.
Comfort: Feeling safe and free to be authentic.
Familiarity: A sense of long-term knowing, as if they've always been part of your life.
Life Alignment: Your paths feel more connected and meaningful.
Seeing Your Potential: They encourage growth and push you beyond your limits.
At the end of the day, we often choose someone who intrigues us and makes us feel comfortable in a positive way.
