I am an experienced teacher and an examiner for a leading examination board (AQA) for both Psychology and Sociology, as well as an examiner for International Baccalaureate Diploma Program. As such, I am able to help learners maximise their potential using targeted revision and examination techniques to attract marks in the most efficient and effective way.
I have a proven track record developing and implementing teaching and learning resources to deliver challenging, supportive and rewarding learning sessions where my aim is to raise each student's achievements beyond his/her expectations.
My tutoring aims to instil confidence, is stimulating, engaging and tailored to a tutee's individual needs. I provide a bespoke service where tutees receive one-to-one support, interactive workbooks, examination papers, mark schemes and other relevant resources. Guidance can also be provided on how to manage revision and workload. I am happy to provide online sessions via Skype, Microsoft Teams or Google Meet.
I have also tutored learners via Skype in Dubai, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Malta, France, Greece, Spain, Guernsey, Hampshire, Hertfordshire, Cumbria, Surrey, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Oxfordshire, Norfolk, Devon, Dorset, Cornwall, Nottinghamshire, Kent and Sussex. All tutees are invited to access my online classrooms which include a wealth of learning resources enabling independent recapping of learning on any mobile device, at any time, day or night. I am an enthusiastic communicator, recognised as being a caring, supportive tutor with a passion for Psychology and Sociology and a desire to see each and every learner succeed.
