I’m a UKCP trainee in advanced Gestalt Psychotherapy, with over 20 years as a psychologist and 30 years teaching mindfulness and insight. My doctoral research explored mindfulness-based therapy, and I now work as an academic focused on contemplative, experiential, and present-moment approaches to therapy.
Gestalt Psychotherapy aims to develop greater intimacy with our present moment experience. Allowing us to be less burdened by thoughts, approaches and strategies that may be causing us harm or holding us back from a more engaged life.
My approach is rooted in kindness and awareness.
