Harriet Clarke
As a person-centred psychotherapist, my commitment is to developing the individual therapeutic relationship to enable my client to access their knowledge and wisdom to navigate life’s challenges. I have six years of experience providing short, medium and long-term psychotherapy in various settings, including the voluntary and private sectors, as well as with students in Higher Education. I am currently in private practice (online, telephone or walk-and-talk) alongside my work as an academic in Higher Education (where I've worked for over 3 decades).
Therapy can be a space to slow down and begin to explore your experiences within a trusted relationship. It should be a place where you can speak freely, explore the breadth of your experiences as well as the minutiae, and be met with care and understanding as part of a supportive challenge to help you determine your own direction. There is no single “right” reason to start therapy - you might come with something specific, feel overwhelmed by several things at once, or simply sense that something in your life needs attention. Wherever you find yourself, we begin right there.
United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy registers trained psychotherapists, ensuring members uphold professional standards.

I do not currently have further space available for FPN clients; I am involved with running the network. I will update this page and my FPN listing when there is a free space for enquirers on social security / low incomes.
