Our Story
The Psychology Society of the Department of Psychology at the University of Peradeniya was founded with the vision of creating a supportive and inspiring community for students passionate about understanding the human mind and behavior. Through events, discussions, workshops, and social initiatives, we aim to promote learning, mental well-being, leadership, and meaningful connections while growing together as future psychology professionals.

Our vision is to empower the university and the larger community with psychological well-being.
Mission
Our mission is to promote psychological knowledge and mental wellbeing within and beyond the University of Peradeniya by engaging students and the wider community through academic discussions, workshops, and outreach initiatives that foster learning, critical thinking, awareness of human behavior, and a supportive culture of well-being.
