The Artist

Nature completes me.

Whether I'm watching an elephant

relish its never-ending dirt bath in the Serengeti; or

Brown Bears in Alaska using different fishing techniques by Brooks Falls;

or a hummingbird hover and reverse flight

in its hunt for nectar in my backyard; or bees

in their relentless search for pollen

in a near-by park -

in all these things, I find wonder, joy and peace.

The sound of waterfalls thundering over cliffs, or waves

gently lapping at the shore on any beach anywhere;

or leaves rustling in gentle breezes; and all the bird song!

These things, too, inspire, fulfill and enrich me.

I hope that my images reflect all this and help to create

a bond between the viewer

and the power and beauty

of nature's bounty.

We need to preserve and protect our special,

vulnerable, wondrous

world.
