In response to the current global restrictions on travel and in-person conferences, the PSSS Student Advisory Council is organizing and hosting their first ever virtual symposium, sponsored by Corteva Agriscience. The objective of this event is to provide big picture overviews of both public and private sector breeding programs as well as how strategies and technology implementation in genomic selection and phenomics have been applied to improve these programs. The scale of the research being conducted as well as the grand challenges and future opportunities will be a general theme throughout the event.
