Our app does not read or collect your personal data. The core remote play functionality connects directly to your console over your network. However, to support our app, third-party services such as AdMob, Google Analytics, and Firebase may collect certain information for analytics, advertising, and crash reporting purposes.
These third-party services may collect certain data to function effectively. Below is a breakdown of the data collected, its purpose, and how it is used.
1. Google Analytics for Firebase

Advertising ID: We (and AdMob) may collect the Android Advertising ID (Ad ID) to provide and measure ads. AdMob receives advertising identifiers and may combine them with other data under Google’s policies. 3. Firebase Crashlytics

Permissions Required
Internet Permission
Purpose: This permission is used to connect the app to the internet for remote control and streaming features.
Details: It allows the app to establish a connection with your PS5 or PS4 console and fetch required data for remote access. No personal browsing data is collected.
Access Network State Permission
Purpose: This permission checks your device's current network status to ensure a stable connection for remote play.
If Denied: The app may not be able to provide reliable connection status, potentially leading to a poor user experience.
Details: It helps determine if your device is connected to Wi-Fi or mobile data and whether the network is strong enough for remote functionality.
Vibrate Permission
Purpose: This permission allows the app to trigger vibration feedback during gameplay for an immersive experience.
Details: It is only used to enhance your interaction with the app and does not affect other device functions.
High Sampling Rate Sensors Permission
Purpose: This permission enables smoother and more accurate motion control during remote gaming sessions.
Details: It helps the app read device sensor data at a higher frequency for better responsiveness. Sensor data is used in real time and is not stored.

Legal bases for our processing include performance of a contract (app functionality), consent (ads/analytics where required), legitimate interests (app improvement, fraud prevention) and legal obligations.
California (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident you may have the right to: know what categories of personal data are collected, access specific pieces of personal data, request deletion, opt out of sale/sharing for targeted advertising, and non-discrimination for exercising those rights. To submit a request, email toolhubapps@gmail.com with subject “CCPA Request / Do Not Sell or Share My Info” and include your name, contact email, Advertising ID (or device ID), and a description of your request. We will verify and respond within 45 days (may extend if needed).
Virginia (VCDPA), Brazil (LGPD), and other jurisdictions
Similar rights (access, correction, deletion, portability, opt-out) may be available. Contact toolhubapps@gmail.com with subject line “VCDPA Request” or “LGPD Request” as applicable.
How to make a request and verification
To process a data rights request we require proof of identity: name, email, and Advertising ID (or a screenshot of the App About page showing your device/app version). For agent requests, we require signed authorization. We aim to respond within 30 days for GDPR requests (may extend by 15 days) and within 45 days for CCPA requests.
Security
Commitment: We prioritize your privacy and strive to protect your data. We ensure that any data saved on your device is secure and not shared with external parties.
Limitations: While we use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data Retention
Analytics and crash data collected by third-party services like Google Firebase are retained according to their policies, typically for up to 14 months.
Advertising identifiers used for ads are handled according to Google/AdMob retention practices. We do not store this data on our servers.
Children
The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If a parent believes their child under 13 has provided personal data through the App, please contact us at toolhubapps@gmail.com and we will take steps to remove the information.
Ads & Opt-Out
We show ads via AdMob. You can opt out of ad personalization via your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization). If you are in the EU/EEA, the App will request your consent for personalized ads as required by law.
Important disclaimers about PlayStation and PSN
No affiliation: This App is an independent third-party tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or certified by Sony Interactive Entertainment Inc. or any game publisher.
PSN credentials: The App does not require or request your PlayStation Network (PSN) password. Do not enter your PSN credentials into third-party apps or unverified forms
Changes Updates: This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating this page with the new policy.
Notification: Users are advised to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of any changes.
