1. Rental is on a first come, first serve basis through the givebacks link on PTO website. Families and staff may reserve the K-5 rock for one week this school year. (Additional weeks depend on current demand) 

2. The renter agrees to pay the $40 rental fee, which is considered a donation to PSPA PTO and is tax-deductible. Renter also pays credit card fee, which is not tax-deductible.

3. The rental is from Saturday-Friday and may be painted at the renter’s convenience beginning on Saturday of the weekly rental.

4. To select a rental week, add it to your cart and proceed to checkout. We do not take cash or checks for Rent the Rock.

5. The renter agrees to supply all of the paint and supplies needed for the message, as well as bringing supplies to cover up the previous week’s message.  Note: spray paint (approximately 3-4 cans) works best for the base coat. Acrylic paint is recommended for detail work.  Other supplies that can be helpful: roll of paper towels, old towel (dry up rain or dew that may have collected in the dips in the rock), plastic grocery bags, disposable gloves, baby wipes, small paint brushes for details.

6,. You should ensure that paint is not left on the road, curb or grass. The area around the rock should be kept as clean as possible. The elementary rental is for the large rock only - the smaller Pioneers logo rock next to it is NOT included.  

7. The renter must indicate what the general message will be (school spirit, birthday, school achievement, sports achievement). All spirit rock decorations must meet the same standard we would expect of any school sponsored sign, attire, events etc. No religious, political, or offensive decorations are allowed.

8. Lastly, email pictures of your completed rock to info@pspapto.org if you would like us to share it on our webpage/newsletter/social media!  Thank you for giving to PSPA PTO.

PSPA PTO is not responsible for parents, students or others who paint the rock without reserving it and the artwork will be promptly covered. PSPA PTO also reserves the rights to block out dates to be used by the school and PTO.  The following weeks are unavailable due to scheduled paintings: Back to School (August), National School Choice Week (January), Staff Appreciation Week (February) and Grad/Summer Send off (May).
