Top 2% of the world's scientists: October 2023
The Stanford University database provides standardized information on citations, h-index and a composite indicator (c-score) to better understand and celebrate the contributions of scientists in different fields. The database classifies scientists from around the world into 22 scientific fields and 174 subfields using the standard Science-Metrix classification. The selection criteria are based on being in the top 100,000 scientists by c-score or having a percentile rank of 2% or above in a sub-field (data used from a Scopus updated to the end of the 2022 citation year).

This fellowship is considered to be among the most prestigious and generous awards; the alumni network is the foundation's greatest asset, comprising over 26,000 Humboldtian’s in more than 130 countries — including 50 Nobel laureates.

JSPS Postdoctorate Research Fellowship: October 2015
Awarded with the JSPS Postdoctorate Research Fellowship from the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) considering the significant contribution in the field of materials sciences. JSPS awards the fellowships to the overseas researchers having an excellent record of research achievements and willing to conduct collaborative research. This is highly competitive and prestigious fellowship with success rate close to 25%.
Best Research Scholar: February 2014
Honoured with the Best Research Scholar Award from CSIR- National Chemical Laboratory Research Foundation – Keerthi Sangoram Memorial Endowment Award for the significant contribution in materials sciences and energy sector. This is a most prestigious institutional award in CSIR- National Chemical Laboratory, which is presented to 3 Ph.D. candidates each year (among ~500 students).

Senior Research Fellowship: April 2012
