In March of 2026, members of PSN DTU stood outside of the DSE Career Fair in order to hand out fliers to students regarding the involvement with the genocide in Gaza of some of the companies present at the fair. We then attended the fair itself to observe which companies DTU was allowing to recruit its students. We found several companies there whose presence we believe merits scrutiny due to their links to or direct involvement in the ongoing occupation of Palestinian territories. Below we list those companies, our rationale for including them, and photographs from the fair taken whenever possible.
Companies Spotted:
Terma
We have previously written about Terma's involvement in the genocide in Gaza, particularly via its contributions to the F35 fighter jet which has been used in the bombing campaigns. Not only is Terma still present on DTU's campus, but the company is offering students the opportunity to participate in internships with Lockheed Martin. Lockheed Martin is the largest contractor of the U.S. government and produces many of the fighter aircraft, bombs, and missiles used by the U.S. military and its client states. It extensively lobbies the U.S. government to maintain the perpetual state of war and its aircraft and munitions were used by the U.S. and its allies to bomb Iraq, Afghanistan, Palestine, Lebanon, Iran, and even by the Royal Danish Air Force in Libya [1]. It seems unconscionable that after so many years of belligerent war lobbied for by Lockheed and carried out by its customers that DTU would platform the ability for its students to directly participate in the death machine. We have included some pictures from the event, including the internship opportunity fliers below:
Invisio
Invisio is a Danish company headquartered in Copenhagen which produces audio communications equipment for military applications. This includes products such as headsets for soldiers and intercom systems for military vehicles. An image of their booth from the DSE fair is shown below:
Although it is nowhere to be found on their official website, the company is apparently quite active in selling its products to the Israeli Defense Force. It maintains an instagram account called @invisio_israel which highlights some of the company's operations in that country. We have included some screenshots from the page which shows Invisio employees and IDF soldiers installing equipment on military vehicles. The page also openly shares third party posts which pay homage to IDF soldiers:
A number of other companies were present [2] which have ties to the occupation in Palestine and other human rights abuses. The list below includes companies at the fair which are listed in either the WhoProfits corporate database or the American Friends Service Committee (AFSC) Investigate company database. WhoProfits is an independent Israeli NGO which researches and documents the commercial involvement of Israeli and international companies in the occupation [3]. The AFSC is a group founded by the Quakers aimed at promoting peace. The group launched their AFSC Investigate project in 2016 in order to expose corporate complicity in state violence [4]. We believe that these two databases are valuable compendia to the United Nations Blacklist due to their rigorous research and transparent methodology.
Other Implicated Companies:
ABB
A Swedish-Swiss corporation which specializes in manufacturing electrification products, robotics, and industrial automation technology. ABB has sold equipment to numerous solar farms built on occupied Palestinian territory in order to power illegal settlements. The company also invests millions of dollars in Israeli startups via its corporate venture arm: ABB Technology Ventures [5].
Accenture
A multinational firm which specializes in IT services and consulting. Accenture provides products and services for many repressive governments and surveillance companies around the world. Included in this list are the U.S. Customs and Border Patrol (CPB) and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agencies, to whom the company has provided hundreds of millions of dollars of data and intelligence support services [6]. The company has also acquired and invested in Israeli cybersecurity firms such as Maglan and Team8, both of which are closely tied to the Israeli military [7], which led to the creation of Accenture's cybersecurity research center in Israel [8]. Additionally, Accenture has brokered arms deals between India and Israel totaling more than $2 billion [7].
Capgemini
A French company which provides IT services to governments and large corporations. Capgemini provides services to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) as well as the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) division responsible for deportations [9]. The company's services play a critical role in managing the technical infrastructure of the U.S. deportation system.
Hitachi
A Japanese manufacturing giant which produces everything from inkjet printers to construction equipment, military hardware, and railway systems. It has sold its construction machinery to Israeli customers for home demolitions and illegal settlement construction in the occupied Palestinian territories. Hitachi's fully owned Israeli subsidiary, Hitachi Vantara Israel, provides computing storage systems to the Israeli police [10].
Siemens
A German multinational technology company which specializes manufacturing, healthcare technology, transportation, and digital services. Siemens has built rail cars which are used both within Israel proper as well as to service the settlements in the occupied territories. Traffic control systems made by the company have also been documented within illegal settlements in the West Bank. The company also has a local representative known as the Orad group which provides maintenance services to the Israeli prison service [11].
Notable Mention:
Boston Dynamics
While representatives from the robotics manufacturer itself were not present at the DSE fair, the Swedish construction company NCC brought one of Boston Dynamics' robotic dogs to the career fair as a means of enticing students apply for positions. NCC's use of the robot is benign; according the the company's website the dog is being used on construction sites in order to monitor safety conditions [12]. This matches the marketing material released by Boston Dynamics about the product where they show how the robot can be used for such types of inspection tasks [13]. We choose to highlight these robot dogs here not due to any actions by NCC but rather to call attention to how they are being used in the occupied Palestinian territories. In 2020, Israeli drone maker Precepto secured a $45 million grant in order to integrate its drones with Boston Dynamics' robot dogs to create a multi-mode surveillance system [14,15]. Among the companies which invested in Percepto to pursue this project are Koch Industries (American petrochemical giant which donates heavily to neo-conservative causes, especially lobbying against climate change action) and Delek (Israeli petrochemical conglomerate which is on the UN Blacklist) [15]. The security system designed by Percepto is being used to secure industrial sites belonging to its customers, including Israel Chemicals (ICL) [15]. ICL's need to secure its sites stems from the fact that it operates extensively in the occupied Palestinian territories: mining raw materials there as well as supplying illegal settlements with fertilizers and chemicals [16]. ICL also provides white phosphorus bombs to the US and Israeli militaries [17], munitions which were used in war crimes by the former in the Iraqi city of Fallujah and by the latter in Gaza and Lebanon.
We believe that students and the companies hiring them should think critically about the technology they engage with, particularly when there is the possibility for dual-use. Boston Dynamics' products are being used by Percepto in order to secure sites in illegal settlements. Moreover, while to-date Boston Dynamics has resisted mounting autonomous weapons systems onto their robots, not all companies are displaying this modicum of caution. In 2023, the IDF began acquiring similar robots from a competitor called Ghost Robotics [18]. The robots were initially intended to be used for "target acquisition" in Gaza. Though the stated purpose of this order is for reconnaissance applications, in 2021 Ghost Robotics debuted a version of their robot dog which was equipped with a machine gun, advanced optical sights, and thermal cameras. Reportedly, the robot was able to fire on targets up to a range of 1,200 meters [18].
