NovaText ("the App") is an SMS/MMS messaging application for Android. This

policy explains what information the App handles and how.

1. YOUR MESSAGES AND CONTACTS STAY ON YOUR DEVICE

The App functions as your default SMS app. To do this it reads and writes SMS/

MMS messages and reads your contacts ON YOUR DEVICE ONLY. We do NOT collect,

store, transmit, sell or share your messages, contacts, phone number or call

details with our servers or any third party. Message backups created with the

Backup feature are saved locally on your device storage and remain under your

control.

2. PERMISSIONS WE REQUEST AND WHY

- SMS (send/receive/read): core messaging functionality as your SMS app

- Contacts: show names and photos of the people you message

- Notifications: alert you to new messages and optional daily tips

- Storage/Media: attach photos to MMS and save backups locally

- Phone state (dual SIM): let you choose which SIM sends a message

Permissions are used solely for the features described and never to harvest data.

3. INFORMATION COLLECTED AUTOMATICALLY

We use Google services that collect limited, non-message data:

- Google AdMob (advertising): advertising ID, coarse device data, ad

interaction data — used to serve and measure ads. Where required (EEA/UK),

you will see a consent form (Google UMP) and can choose non-personalized ads.

- Firebase Analytics: anonymous app-usage events (e.g. screen views) to help

us improve the App.

- Firebase Crashlytics: crash logs and device model/OS info to fix bugs.

- Firebase Remote Config: delivers app configuration; it does not collect

personal data.

4. ADS

The App is free and supported by advertising (banner, native, interstitial and

app-open ads served by Google AdMob). Ads never appear inside your private

message content, and the App does not share your messages with advertisers.

5. CHILDREN

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect

personal information from children.

6. DATA SECURITY AND RETENTION

Analytics and crash data are retained by Google per their standard retention

periods. Your messages are retained only on your device until you delete them.

7. YOUR RIGHTS AND DATA DELETION

You may reset your advertising ID or opt out of ads personalization in Android

Settings → Google → Ads. To request deletion of analytics data associated with

your device, or for any privacy question, email harshil@riseupinfotech.com and

we will respond within 30 days. Uninstalling the App stops all data collection.

8. DEFAULT SMS HANDLER DISCLOSURE

As a default SMS handler, the App accesses SMS only to provide visible

messaging features (sending, receiving, organizing, searching, backing up and

cleaning up YOUR messages at YOUR request), consistent with Google Play's

Permissions policy.

9. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the "Last

updated" date above. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
