Aloha, everyone, my name is Jay, and I'm this year's Psi Sigma President! I'm a junior here at UHM, and this is my 4th semester with Psi Sigma. I joined this club to help me create a safe and enjoyable college experience and to help me socialize with people with the same major as me. I love anything and everything corgis and corgi-themed, and in my free time, I like going to the gym, watching sports, and playing volleyball. I'm currently an RBT for Balanced ABA in a home setting. I hope to help the club to the best of my ability, and let's all have an amazing semester. Let's make this school a great school and I am so excited to be this year's Psi Sigma President!

Hey everyone! My name is Emma Burnkrant and I’m a junior majoring in Sociology and Psychology anticipating graduation in Spring '28. This will be my first semester as the Vice President for Psi Sigma, and I’m excited! I enjoy going to the gym, playing video games, and hanging out with friends. I currently work for the IT department at UH, Jamba Juice, and as an ACE Peer Mentor. I have a twin sister and three dogs. I’m always happy to meet new people so feel free to say hi whenever! I’m looking forward to a great semester with Psi Sigma!

Ashlie Wang

Executive Society Historian

Senior: Class of 2026 🎓

Hi! My name is Ashlie (or Ash, I’m good with either) and I will be your Executive Society Historian this semester. I am a third year student majoring in psychology and minoring in sociology. I’m from Honolulu, so I am lucky to be able to live at home while studying. I currently work part-time for Balanced ABA as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). After graduating, I would like to take a gap semester before continuing to pursue my studies. A few hobbies I have are reading (books, manga and webcomics), crocheting, listening to music (mostly j-pop/j-rock), making wax seals, looking for reasons to go on a drive, and watching random shows that I find through social media. I’m looking forward to my final undergrad semester as an officer and to meeting/getting to better know everyone in the club!

Rhiannon Wong

Hi! My name is Rhiannon Wong, and I am a current sophomore pursuing a BS in psychology on the pre-health track. After graduating, I hope to pursue medical school and become a practicing physician! As a previous member, I am super excited to be a part of the Psi Sigma team this year! I joined Psi Sigma in my first year to meet new people who shared the same interest in psychology and to get more involved on campus. When I’m not studying or in the gym, I enjoy various activities like spending time with friends, baking, and assisting in coaching my high school cheer team. Hi everyone, my name is Vanessa Orton and I am going to be your Director of Online Operations this upcoming semester! I am a senior graduating in 2027, and I’m double majoring in Communications and Psychology. I love to ice skate, cook, and practice yoga in my free time. This is my 2nd year in Psi Sigma and I am so happy to work with my fellow board members. You’ll probably run into me working at the Campus Center T&I Office :) I’m looking forward to getting to know everyone this semester!

“Aloha kākou! My name is Leinaʻala; this is my first year at UHM, but I have a sophomore standing. I’m double majoring in Psychology and Human Development & Family Studies. I’m going to be the Director of Academic & Professional Events for the 2026 Spring semester. I chose to major in psychology because it’s a topic that really resonated with me and something that I’m passionate to pursue research in. I’ve always wondered why people (especially children) think, feel, behave, and act the way that they do which is what led me to want to pursue psychology. Hello, My name is Yuna Cigna. I am a freshman majoring in psychology! I am very glad to have been elected Spring 2026's Director of Financial Operations. I hope that in my time as DFO. I will be able to support this club to do great things through my position and as a general member. While this is my first year as a PSI Sigma member and college student in general, I am eager to face all the challenges that may come my way. I’m so excited to be the new Director of Community Service Events for the Spring ’26 semester as I hope to share my passion for community service with you all. Currently I’m a freshman majoring in Pre-psychology with the hopes of declaring a double major in Social Work and a BA Psychology track. Outside of school I like to frequent the beach, thrift, obsess over my lashes, and workout. So, if you see me at the rec center, don’t be afraid to say hi!
