MyLibrary NYC

All students and staff at PS/IS 109 have the option to obtain a MyLibrary NYC library card. This is different than your regular NYPL/BPL library or educator card.

• The MyLibrary program allows teachers and students to check out more books at one time, place more holds at one time, and avoid fines or fees.

• Teachers can also order class sets and games (certain titles) to borrow. Click on the provided link and go to "Teacher Sets". You can filter your choices from there. Books will be delivered within 1-2 weeks upon the order being completed. They are delivered to the school with return labels for UPS.

• If you have not filled out an application for your MyLibrary NYC card and would like one, please email Ms. Son at JSon5@schools.nyc.gov and she will get in touch with our local BPL librarian to have one made. There is an e-form below.

In the meantime:

If someone does not already have a BPL library card, they can sign up for an eCard, which will give them access to BPL databases, as well as borrowing eBooks and eAudiobooks from the collection. This eCard expires 1 year from the day it is created and can be expanded into a full library card at any BPL branch.
