As the world begins to be aware of the impact of globalized food systems, people are looking to shift to localized, sustainable, resources. With restricted access to our beloved PSFC, people are looking for solace and grounding. Join Sung Uni Lee on a virtual foraging tour to harvest mugwort — aka Artemisia vulgaris — a common weed, steeped in mysticism and folklore. Learn to identify, cook with it, and dream with it.

Sung Uni Lee has been teaching culinary arts for nearly two decades — at LaGuardia Community College, Brooklyn College Arts Labs, Dynamite Shop, Park Slope Food Coop, and various private and corporate workshops. As a multidisciplinary artist, counselor and educator she has an integrative approach to understanding what we eat, how it serves us, and getting you activated in the process. This is her 3rd season as lead administrator for the Park Slope Food Class.
Information and content of this workshop does not constitute medical advice. Rather, it serves as an inspiration for using natural remedies and begs for further investigation.
We are capping the meeting to 50. First come, first served.
