Show your spirit and Rent the Rock!
The spirit rock allows you to recognize a student, share your school spirit, thank a staff member, or any other celebratory event. This is a great way to spread positivity at our school. The spirit rock is located across the main drive from the bus parking lot.
Step 1 - Sign Up
Sign-Up for your preferred slot using the Sign-Up Genius links above. Select the date for which you would like the rock to be reserved. You can begin painting at 4:00 pm the day prior to your reservation. For example, if your child's birthday is May 9th you would select May 9th and could start painting at 4:00 pm on May 8th.
Only 1 reservation is available per day on a first come, first serve basis... so sign up ASAP!
Payment MUST be received withing 2 days of signing up, otherwise your reservation will be forfeited (refer to step 2 below).
Please only sign up for a mximum of 2 slots per child event (birthday, celebration). We want all children to have the opportunity to have the rock painted in celebration of their birthday.
Check your email or Sign-Up Genius if you need to check your reservation date. Do not count on any reminders regarding your reservation.

Step 2 - Payment
After signing up, follow the link above to submit your $10 payment. Payment must be received within 2 business days of signing up, otherwise your date will be forfeited.
Step 3 - Paint!
You will need about 2-3 cans for your base coat and additional cans to create your design.
Paint freehand or use stencils!
Latex or paints that are brushed / rolled on wll take a few hours to dry and may require multiple coats. Spray paint will dry within a few minutes.
You must provide your own paint and supplies.
RULES & REGULATIONS:
Only paint may be used. No glue, glitter, or application of other items.
Only one person may reserve the rock per day.
All reservations must be made online through the PTO Sign-Up Genius links. The front office cannot assist with reservations.
The area around the Spirit Rock should be kept neat and clean. Please clean up after yourself.
Do not paint anything other than the rock. A plastic tarp can be used to protect the area around the rock. Any cleaning or repair costs required due to violation of this policy will be the financial responsibility of those who caused the damage.
All rules as outlined in the Patriots STEM Elementary School handbook must be obeyed. This includes but is not limited to: No bullying, profanity, obscenity, or derogatory language.
