The MISSI provides timely flash indicators that monitor the performance of growth-oriented industries in the manufacturing section. The indicators generated by the MISSI are in the form of indices and growth rates of value of production and net sales data. Indices on volume of production and volume of net sales are derived using the producer price index as deflator.
The Producer Price Survey (PPS) is conducted by PSA to collect monthly producer prices of industry products produced by sample establishments in the manufacturing section.
ASPBI stands for Annual Survey of Philippine Business and Industry. It is a statistical activity conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) to gather data on the structure, trends, and levels of economic activity in the Philippines. The survey provides key statistics for economic planning and analysis.

Geographic coverage
The geographic domain for establishments under core ICT and BPM industries is the region, while for those establishments classified under non-core ICT industries, the geographic domain is at the national level. Hence, the samples of the SICT 2021 for core ICT and BPM industries can provide estimates at the regional level, while the non-core ICT industries can provide data at the national level only.
Unit of analysis
Establishment - defined as an economic unit under a single ownership or control, i.e., under a single legal entity, engaged in one or predominantly one kind of economic activity at a single fixed location.
The Provincial Product Accounts (PPA) is a mechanism to compile the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) using the production approach and other economic accounts at the subregional level. It is aligned with the Philippine System of National Accounts (PSNA) that aims to present a comprehensive picture of the provincial and Highly Urbanized City (HUC) economies. By providing a more appropriate measure and assessment of a province’s economic performance, the PPA is viewed to strengthen the planning and decision-making of local level policy makers and other stakeholders.
