Ask of me, and I will make the nations your inheritance
"Ask of me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession." (Psalm 2:8) God has given everything to us who believe: creation, prayer, authority, power, resources, and talents—all are gifts from Him.
"You will break them with a rod of iron; you will shatter them like pottery." (Psalm 2:9) God reigns over all creation and governs every authority. Therefore, everything I fear is nothing but an illusion.
"So then, you kings, be wise; and you rulers of the earth, take warning." (Psalm 2:10) Those who humble themselves and pray to God will be lifted up by Him. Only those who fear the Lord and possess His wisdom can govern with true wisdom.

Psalms 2:8-10
8 Ask me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession.
9 You will break them with a rod of iron; you will dash them to pieces like pottery.
10 Therefore, you kings, be wise; be warned, you rulers of the earth.

The path of evildoers is like chaff blown by the wind. Wealth and fame, regarded as idols of the world, will vanish. A life without God's presence will see its labor fade away without a trace.
Thus, evildoers cannot stand in judgment, nor can sinners be part of the assembly of the righteous. However, wisdom is reaped along the path of righteousness. The Lord searches for the righteous among those who worship and praise Him.
God seeks those who walk in the way of righteousness but brings ruin to the way of the wicked. He examines the hearts and minds of people and knows those who seek Him. Evildoers claim there is no God, but they will be repaid according to their deeds and sins. Therefore, we must carefully examine our paths and consider where we are headed.
[Bible Text]
Psalms 1:4-6
4 Not so the wicked! They are like chaff that the wind blows away.
5 Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.
6 For the Lord watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked leads to destruction.
The writer of the Psalms said that blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or sit in the company of mockers.1
There is a saying, "근묵자흑" (Geunmukjaheuk), which means that one becomes tainted when surrounded by evildoers.2 On the other hand, walking with Christ Jesus leads to the path of wisdom and truth. We should carefully choose whom we walk with.3
Then, who is the blessed one? The blessed one is the one who delights in the law of the Lord and meditates on it day and night. 4 The way to fear the Lord is to meditate on His word day and night.5 There is life when we meditate in the Lord.
Such a person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and does not wither. Whatever they do prospers.6
This is a metaphorical expression, illustrating that where the living water flows, there is the life of God. Thus, the most important quality of a blessed person is their communication with the Lord.
[Bible Text]
Psalms 1:1
Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers,
Psalms 1:2
but whose delight is in the law of the LORD, and who meditates on his law day and night.
Psalms 1:3
That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither—whatever they do prospers.
