PSAA (Public Schools Administrator Association)
The Public Schools Administrator Association was founded in 1972 to provide opportunities for Edmonton Public School Administrators to connect with colleagues, make new acquaintances and collaborate. They hold events throughout the year, including the Bids for Kids fundraiser.
Historically, staff in the Division have used a variety of ways to pay for their membership in the PSAA as well as for events. September 1, 2024 and onward, the Division is setting out the following acceptable practice for use of Division funds related to the PSAA.
Annual Membership Fee: $100 per leader per school year and $50 for retired Edmonton Public Alumni.
Memberships: Staff wishing to join the PSAA are asked to pay an annual membership fee. It is acceptable to charge this membership fee to your unit’s budget. This can be paid in one of two ways:
a. Pay the fee personally (either personal cheque, cash, or credit card), and then submit the expense along with a receipt through IExpense as a cash reimbursement and charge to budget.
b. Use the Division credit card to pay and then process through IExpense. NOTE: NO SCHOOL CHEQUES should be written for this payment.
c. You can also NOW pay online through our secure portal! Click here to access the Membership Form and online payment portal or scan the QR Code on the left!
NOTE- when purchasing through this portal please add you name in the "order summary" section of the checkout screen, before clicking "place order".
Events: Staff wishing to purchase tickets to events held by the PSAA are responsible for these expenses on their own, and these will not be reimbursed by Division funds. Attendance at these events is voluntary. This includes tickets to the Bids for Kids event.
