This is to consent that photos and/or videos taken at the event can be shared by PS34's newsletters, project website, local newspaper, NWF social media/blogs, etc. All participants MUST complete this form.

Only fill this out if you would like your child to be taken to Bushwick Inlet Park (BIP) after dismissal at 2:35pm by designated teachers (Ms. Marshall and Ms. Karwinska). **If you do not sign form, you must pick up your child upon school dismissal and bring him/her to BIP by 3:30pm!**

Please also pack a big snack for your child(ren); otherwise it will be provided.

Schedule:

2:35-3:00 - group walks from PS34 to Bushwick Inlet Park with teachers and chaperones
3:00-3:30 - snacks, bathroom
3:30:4:30 - rehearsal
5:00 >> Doors open; event begins - "Mocktail" hour
(5:30-5:45 - parents to help dress child(ren)

For all parents/guardians who wish to drop of your child(ren)... please be sure to have a snack before arriving and to be at the Park by 3:30pm - SHARP!

Families can join when the event begins at 5:00pm. Parents are not encouraged to stay during rehearsal. Exceptions for students in Pre-K and Kindergarten or if parents will also be walking the runway!

Bushwick Inlet Park is the centerpiece of the Greenpoint-Williamsburg Waterfront. This park incorporates natural and urban structures, bringing Greenpoint's waterfront and natural areas into the community around it. Visitors can admire the views or use the park's facilities for active recreation. The park includes a multipurpose field for soccer, football, lacrosse, field hockey, rugby, and ultimate frisbee, a green building with a green roof, a viewing platform, playground and public accesss to the waterfront. The green building, which is the park's headquarters, is designed to achieve high environmental performance standards with a highly efficient heating-cooling system that uses geothermal wells, heat pumps and radiant floors. It has a green roof with a shade structure composed of photovoltaic cells that provides solar energy power to the building, and a rainwater collection system to provide irrigation water to the green roof.
