  • Do not advertise other rooms or websites.

  • Do not discuss promotions / demotions in the chat.

  • Do not post links unless staff have given you permission.

  • Do report other players by PMing a staff member.

  • Do not fake or twist logs when reporting a player.

  • All rules applying in Mafia, apply in Mafia-related groupchats like scum- and deadchats.

PLAYING RULES

  • Do not PM other players in the game, unless the theme specifies that you can.

  • Do not post your role PM or host PM logs in the chat.

  • Do not use role PMs to scumhunt.

  • Do not post in the game or PM a player after you have died. If you would like to discuss an ongoing game after you've died, ask the host or a staff member to set up a spectator chat for you.

  • Do not use dice or other luck-based methods to determine your actions.

  • Do not use outside influences to determine your actions.

  • Do not change your name while playing a game, or use an alt to imitate a new player.

  • Do not deliberately play against your wincondition (gamethrow), or deliberately forestall your wincondition to prolong the game (slowroll).

  • Do not manipulate others to play against their wincondition.

    • Misleading a new player about their wincondition.

    • Misleading a sub about what happened previously in the game or about setup mechanics.

  • Do not flame or personally attack another player. Good sportsmanship is expected.

  • Do not mislead the host or do anything to interfere with the host's ability to run the game smoothly. This includes:

    • Faking actions, votes or other game mechanics.

    • Using names to imitate other player or bait tabfails.

  • You have to be aware of your role PM when playing Mafia.

HOSTING RULES

  • To be added to the host queue, ask a staff member (%, @, #).

  • Games are not allowed to have over 20 participants (unless it is an official game). If a game would exceed 20 players, ask staff to help you coordinate a secondary game in a separate chat.

  • Do not reveal anything about the game that you are not supposed to. Do not mention who targeted who or what the cause of a kill was, unless the theme specifies you have to. If you want to add flavor, make sure it doesn't spoil information about the game.

  • Do not engage in the game.

  • Do not abuse bold, only use it when necessary. Similarly, do not flood the chat.

  • Do not sub in a player who died before unless absolutely necessary. This is only allowed when the player could not potentially have any information that others don't have.

  • Follow the host guidelines.
