GTS: How are you?

Derz: I'm good. playing league of legends

GTS: nice, nice. How'd you first find the Mafia Room?

Derz: I think 2016/2017 ugo i saw mafia in the news and it was the only one that looked Interesting to me, i joined but was p confused so i checked out trivia and stayed there for like 2-3 days and got bored as fuck and then went back to mafia and gave it another shot, I hadn’t even known that people played it in real life and there were various spinoffs (like ToS) till much later actually

GTS: Oh that's pretty interesting. Was there something specific that made you stay (excluding that it was less boring than triv kek)

Derz: Well between mafia / survivor / trivia / battledome, the name mafia just got me the most curious, once I learned to play i realized it was pretty fun

GTS: That's fair. Is/Are there any players you look(ed) up to?

Derz: Yeah hawkie only. Not really others. Ik ppl liked mmm/clc/darnell crowd back then but as a mafia player hawkie was pgood. He didn't really inspire my playstyle tho

GTS: I mean, we all know I did cuz I'm literally the goat. What's your favorite mafia role?

Derz: kek. uhhhh Idk im a p big vanilla fan so can i say vt and mafia goon tied for first 2nd place tho would probably be roleblocker maybe? Its a simple role and isn’t broken and anti fun like investigatives

GTS: I mean, you can say what you want. Vanilla roles are a good way to go tho Would you say vanilla is your favorite theme? If not, what is?

Derz: Modexe is. Because at first it seems like it’s completely diff from core mafia but it really isnt and i think that good town players and good scum players can carry harder in it. it allows for more skill expression

GTS: Hot take: It's also overrated :P. Do you have a favorite mafia memory?

Derz: hmmm. I have no clue LOL. maybe uh an iconic 9 am. But I don't remember a specific moment

GTS: That's very specific. What's your favorite part of mafia?

Derz: I think being right about things and fooling others are tied for first. its just so satisfying. Oh and This is forum mafia specific but writing wallposts and quite literally word for word dissecting ppls posts are super fun

GTS: It's pretty satisfying. What's your least favorite part about mafia?

Derz: unironically non co-operative people that literally just don't get what you are saying and esp esp esp people that have no clue whats going on in the game and just dont use logic, it ruins the game for me

GTS: In other words, you hate newbies

Derz: NO

GTS: kek, is there any background behind your name?

Derz: yes there is. I liked spiderman and my real name starts with a z. spiderz.

GTS: not as cool as it could be, but fair enough. Is there anyone on PS you'd ship yourself with?...

GTS: Doubt it's mutual. Do you prefer hosting or playing, and why?

Derz: playing by farrrrr and I think its obv because playing is just 500x more fun. I mean hosting is nice tho bc I like giving postgame commentary

Derz: torchic line but non starter fav is like uhhhh bisharp maybe

GTS: Do you have any advice for new players (which apparently you hate)

Derz: Yes. Please at least try to think about what is happening in game, try to think about what you are doing instead of going on auto pilot in game.

GTS: That's very good advice that even some of our current players could use tbh. Which players do you admire most?

Derz: hmmm probably hawkie specifically for their playstyle though. they inspired and taught me alot of how i play today

GTS: interesting. What are your thoughts on authhate?

Derz: meh. Is that even a thing anymore?

GTS: Sorta

Derz: dont know it was funny ig when it started

Derz: its kinda essential to the game LOL

Derz: mafia for sure. i have an insane scum wr on forum. i think my only loss was my first forum scum game ever. and it was bc i afked. bc i went on vacation (sorry OM) but i think my scum forum play is really nutty otherwise. i've been townlocked a lot of my scum games. i think as town too ppl jsut tend to townread me a lot

GTS: Yet your reads on me are never right :(. Do you prefer mafia or town or third party?

Derz: mafia obv bc Im better at it

Derz: gi. Power role heavy themes take away so much from what I personally enjoy from mafia

GTS: What roles do you dislike? Does that mean you dislike powerroles?

Derz: I don't inherently dislike power roles but i think power role heavy themes are annoying?

GTS: interesting. what's your biggest contribution to the room.

Derz: hmmm maybe the tutoring stuff. I think that is defo my biggest contribution. and helping out a bunch of new players.

Derz: Hmmm probably a good energy !_!

Derz: uh like gen 7 OU was sick

Derz: Not sure. Exciting events are coming up. Maybe we'll get an influx of new users.

GTS: is there any particular moment you're proud of?

Derz: tbh its playing really fun fishes with articoo/ wallape/ newsdan and to see them improve

GTS: What are your thoughts on forums?

Derz: the best form of mafia its so good

Derz: not sure at all
