When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and your language information to create and manage your account.

The video call feature is designed to connect blind individuals with volunteers for real-time assistance, and the calls are not recorded or stored.

Camera (Mandatory)
To capture images for AI-based text reading, currency identification, Smart Search, scene description, and video calls with volunteers.
Images are processed in real-time and not stored.
Microphone (Mandatory)
Required for communication during volunteer video calls and for voice-based AI interactions. Also for recording feedback and support requests.
Audio is used only for real-time communication and processing; it is not recorded or stored.
Internet & Network Access (Mandatory)
Required for processing AI features, and video call functionality with volunteers.
We do not share user data with third parties.
User Control & Transparency
User can review and modify these permissions at any time through your device settings.
We do not collect personal data beyond what is necessary for core functionality.
Sensitive information should not be shared during video calls, and ProxMaq Foundation is not responsible for any such disclosures.
