Company History: The owners, Lucky and Kate, have traveled the world over the last 22 years while serving in the United States Air Force. 15 years ago, they stumbled into a cheese and wine store, humbly named The Cheese Shop in Concord, Massachusetts. As soon as they found the store, they fell in love with the idea of one day owning a similar establishment. From there they began studying, sampling, learning and educating themselves about the world’s cheeses and wines. In 2012, they left New Mexico and went to Germany where they lived until 2019. During that time, they went to 22 different countries in Europe and Africa educating themselves about international cheeses and wines. In 2019, they received military orders to move to Maxwell Air Force Base, here in Alabama! When they discovered Wetumpka they fell in love with the town and have chosen to retire in Wetumpka. However, the one thing they yearn to bring into Wetumpka is a sound establishment for quality cheeses and wines.

Mission: Give the local community a positive food and beverage experience, connecting Wetumpka to the world through great selections of cheeses and wines, while growing positive community relations.
