Welcome to the Providence College Clock Lab!
We study how circadian rhythms control key physiological processes—from metabolic regulation and cellular respiration to systemic health outcomes. In the Snodgrass Lab, undergraduate student researchers gain hands-on experience using wild-type and mutant Drosophila, mice, and rats to uncover the physiological output signals driven by oscillating biological clocks. Our goal is to understand how environmental and genetic perturbations to our circadian rhythms alter health and well-being.
