Your data remains on your device as long as you have the app installed. Deleting the app will delete all associated data from your device.

Users have full control over their data. Since all information is stored locally on your device, you can manage, modify, or delete it at any time by interacting with the app or by uninstalling it.

5. Security Measures

To protect your data, ProTOK implements robust encryption for all locally stored data:

  - SQLite Database: Encrypted using the sqflite_sqlcipher package.

  - Files (such as pictures): Encrypted using the encrypt package.

  - Shared Preferences: Encrypted using the flutter_secure_storage package.

These measures ensure that your data remains secure and protected from unauthorized access.

6. Tracking and Cookies

ProTOK does not use tracking technologies such as cookies or any form of behavioral analytics.

7. Third-Party Services

- Text Recognition (Google ML Kit): ProTOK uses Google ML Kit for text recognition purposes (e.g., recognizing food nutrition labels from images). However, no personal data is collected or shared with Google during this process. The image parsing and analysis are done entirely on your device, ensuring your privacy is maintained.

8. Children’s Privacy

ProTOK can be used by individuals of any age. 

As no personal data is collected, the app complies with child privacy regulations (e.g., COPPA), ensuring safe usage for younger audiences.

9. Changes to the Privacy Policy

Any changes to this Privacy Policy will be communicated through the app’s update information in the App Store. Users are encouraged to review the privacy policy whenever updates are released.
