I am stuck in a problem that I am going to install the arduino library in proteus in my desktop to simply simulate this platform in proteus design suite 8. Unfortunately, when I search in proteus I cannot see the full arduino boards there.

Proteus is garbage. As far as I am aware, basically anything that claims to simulate the behavior of a microcontroller (ie, including what the code does) is garbage. We often get people posting about a problem that turns up in a proteus simulation which, when running on the actual hardware, doesn't occur - the simulation does not reflect reality. There is really no substitute for prototyping your design and testing it there - I am of the opinion that proteus is a waste of time. A simulator that doesn't produce accurate results sends you wasting time chasing problems that exist only in simulations, and does not provide assurance that your design works.

Hi all, I'm trying to simulate a project for an STM32F103C6 in proteus ISIS but for debug purposes labcenter's people says that I need the .elf file and the dwarf2 file (both of them in the same folder), then I' found that GCC generates the dwarf 2 file with the option -gdwarf-2 what I've put in Project Properties -> Build steps and in the pre-build command I've wrote the command -gdwarf-2, it didn't worked so I've changed the command to the post-build commands in the same tab. I've also noted that in Tool Settings are several options for what I think is to choose the type of dwarf file that is going to be made during compilation but the only options are none, minimal (-g1), default (g) and maximum (-g3).

Roughly the above error simply means that the .elf file is not in the format supported by proteus so my only option is to solve the problem in the IDE or take all the files to the proteus IDE and I want to try first here.

I am curious to know how many of you have found the Proteus tool by Labcenter useful in your work. Specifically I am interested in your experience as an industry professional, and not as a hobbyist or an academic. Do you use it just for development or also as part of some kind of regression pipeline ?

5. Solder resist layer printout. This is for preventing from short circuits. To print this layer select the mode as solder resist and click the bottom resist box and board edge and reflection mirror mode. Because this is also same like bottom copper layer printing.

8. Then drop the board into ferric-chloride liquid. Then the copper react with ferric-chloride and the copper which is not having carbon layer is dissolved in ferric-chloride and remaining part which is having the carbon layer that is not dissolved in ferric-chloride.
