What is expected of Model UN Delegates?
Participation, dedication, and respectfulness. To get the most out of this program dedication and active participation is required. PISD Model UN invites students of all backgrounds and learning abilities to join as long as the student is passing their classes. We want to give students the opportunity to learn and grow whether they are in advanced classes or not. To provide that area of growth we ask all members to be patient with each other and respect each others learning capabilities. Although Model UN is highly competitive, our main goal is to involve as many proactive students as possible to provide opportunities of growth and development. We are looking forward to work with you! Join us now!

Model U.N. also looks great on college applications. It's very competitive and involved students can get the opportunity to build connections, win awards, scholarships, and more! Model United Nations is also something students can do at college. Many colleges and universities have highly competitive MUN conferences for university level mock conferences.
Note: Anyone can join! There isn't a specific grade requirement or prerequisite.
