Communication at your fingertips!
Pronto is a relatively new communication platform that is integrated into Canvas to help you connect with your classmates and your instructor! It provides a means of synchronous chat, video, audio, and even image sharing, much like your own group text messages. This allows us to maintain frequent and easily accessible communications with each other.
You are automatically included as a member of Pronto if you are enrolled in one of my courses. Take time to review the video tutorials and allow yourself time to get comfortable. See the guidelines below for communicating with the class. Enjoy the freedom to communicate without having to wait!

Do not reveal information about another student in the class feed without their permission.
For a private message to another classmate, use direct messaging.
When creating groups, please practice inclusiveness by explaining on the class feed what the group/group message topic or membership is about and inviting anyone who is interested to let you know, so that you can add them to the group.
Keep in mind this is an academic environment, we are here to support each other.
Protect yourself. Pronto keeps you connected to everyone in our campus without sharing your email. Staying connected is important, and so is your privacy.
Be kind!
