This Privacy Policy describes how PromptCanvas ("the app", "we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use the PromptCanvas Android application.
PromptCanvas helps users browse prompt templates, preview prompt results, select images from their device, and send prompts with selected images to third-party AI applications chosen by the user.

PromptCanvas does not require users to create an account.
PromptCanvas does not sell user data.
PromptCanvas does not display ads.
PromptCanvas does not upload user-selected images or prompt content to our own servers.
PromptCanvas stores limited app data locally on the user’s device for app functionality.
The app displays prompt text and prompt preview metadata provided through the app’s bundled content and/or remote prompt JSON configuration.
This content is used only to provide the prompt browsing and preview experience inside the app.
If a user chooses to use an image-based prompt, the app may access images that the user explicitly selects from their device.
These images are used only to:
let the user preview the selected images inside the app
optionally compress images locally on the device
send the selected images to a third-party AI app chosen by the user
We do not upload these images to our own servers.
The app stores limited data locally on the device, such as:
cached prompt data
app settings and preferences
locally stored app state required for the app to function offline or efficiently
This data remains on the device unless the user clears app data or uninstalls the app.
We use the limited information handled by the app only for the following purposes:
to show prompts and prompt previews
to support prompt search, filtering, and browsing
to let users choose images for image-based prompts
to prepare selected images locally before sharing
to launch the third-party AI app chosen by the user with the selected prompt and image(s)
to support normal app functionality, reliability, and performance
When a user explicitly chooses to send a prompt and selected image(s) to a third-party AI app such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, or another compatible app, the selected content is shared directly with that app through Android’s app-to-app sharing mechanisms.
That sharing happens only because of the user’s direct action.
Once data is shared with a third-party app, that app’s own privacy policy and terms apply.
We are not responsible for how third-party apps process data after the user shares content with them.
We do not sell personal information or user content.
PromptCanvas currently does not display advertising and does not use advertising SDKs for monetization in the current version described by this policy.
If advertising is added in a future version, this Privacy Policy will be updated before or when that change is introduced.
PromptCanvas currently does not use analytics, profiling, or personalized advertising systems to track users across apps or websites, based on the current app setup described by this policy.
If analytics or similar tools are added in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.
Data used by the app is primarily stored locally on the user’s device.
Retention depends on the type of data:
local prompt cache and app settings may remain on the device until the app is cleared or uninstalled
user-selected images are handled locally for the sharing flow and are not intentionally retained by us on our servers
We do not maintain a backend account system or central server that stores user-submitted prompt images or prompt text for this app, based on the current version.
We take reasonable steps within the app to support secure handling of data, including relying on Android platform protections and local app storage mechanisms.
However, no method of device storage, transmission, or third-party processing can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
PromptCanvas is not directed to children under the age required by applicable law, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through our own servers.
If you believe that a child has provided personal information in a way that requires action under applicable law, please contact us.
Users can:
choose whether or not to select images
choose which third-party app to share content with
stop using the app at any time
clear app data through Android settings
uninstall the app at any time
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect product, legal, or operational changes.
When we update it, we will revise the "Last updated" date above.
