Auxito's storefront and checkout use a mix of e-commerce terms and automotive lighting terms. Some of them decide whether the 15% discount attaches to your order at all. This is a plain reading of the words you will meet while applying 15PROMO, and what each one means in practice on auxito.com.
Discount code — the name of the field that accepts 15PROMO. It sits at the payment step of checkout, usually in the right-hand order summary column. The same field is often labelled 'Discount code or gift card', because the platform lets one box accept either. Typing the code and pressing Apply is what triggers the 15% reduction.
Gift card — a stored balance redeemed in that same box. It is not the same thing as a promo code, and sharing the field is a labelling convenience, not an indication that both work identically.
Show order summary — a collapsed panel on mobile that hides the totals and the discount field. If you cannot see anywhere to type on a phone, tap this to expand it.
Apply — the button that validates the code. Nothing happens until it is pressed, and a code typed but not applied will not reduce the total.
Subtotal — the product value before tax and shipping. Percentage codes typically apply to the subtotal rather than to tax or shipping, and the discount reduces the subtotal figure, which is also the figure used for free-shipping thresholds. With free shipping on U.S. orders over $35, a cart close to that line can fall under it once 15% comes off.
Wallet payment — express buttons such as PayPal. These can skip the code step entirely, so apply 15PROMO in standard checkout before choosing one.
Stacking — using two promotions on one order. Discount codes on this platform generally cannot be stacked with sitewide sales or bundle promotions, so the code and an existing sale price usually do not combine.
One per order — the checkout accepts a single discount code per transaction. Codes are also often one per customer account, though whether Auxito enforces that is not stated.
Exclusions — items a code does not cover, commonly clearance stock and gift cards. Auxito does not publish its exclusion list, so this is unconfirmed rather than known.
Expiry — no expiry date is stated for 15PROMO.
Fitment — whether a bulb physically and electrically suits your vehicle. The year/make/model selector filters the catalogue to confirmed fitment, and the bulb finder tool helps identify the correct bulb.
H11/H8/H9, 9005/HB3, 9006, H1 — bulb base codes describing the socket shape, not the brightness. Auxito lists headlight bulbs in these fitments.
CANbus adapter — a module for vehicles whose electrical network monitors bulb current draw. LEDs draw less than halogens, which can trigger a bulb-out warning; the adapter addresses that.
Anti-flicker decoder — a related add-on for cars where the LED pulses or strobes because of how the circuit supplies power.
X-Plore series — Auxito's off-road lighting line: 7-inch driving lights, ditch light pods and auxiliary driving lights.
Combo beam and spot beam — beam patterns. Spot throws a narrow distance-focused beam; combo mixes patterns. Both appear on the auxiliary driving lights.
Switchback DRL — a daytime running light that changes colour, offered alongside amber DRLs.
2-year warranty — all products are covered for two years from date of purchase.
60-day returns — the return window advertised on the site.
Street-legal — a regional legal status, not a product feature. LED conversions are not street-legal everywhere and may fail inspection, so check your local rules before buying.
Find parts with the bulb finder or vehicle selector, consolidate everything into one order, then work through checkout: email, shipping address, shipping method, then the payment step. Enter 15PROMO in the Discount code field, press Apply, and check that a discount line appears and the total has dropped by 15% before you enter card details.
