Assistant Professor of Economics at Hamilton College
International trade | Development economics | Political economy of diplomacy
I am an Assistant Professor of Economics at Hamilton College. My research examines how diplomatic relationships and geopolitical choices shape trade, foreign aid, and investment, with a particular interest in developing countries.
My current projects study the economic consequences of diplomatic realignment, the strategies aid-recipient countries use at the United Nations, and the effects of trade and industrial change on work and human capital. I received my Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Oregon in 2023.
