Residential Starlink- Installation Program
Thank you for your interest in the ProMaster Technologies Residential Starlink Installation program. Below are the current details
of the program. Constant communication is required and appreciated. Travel is involved/ required as the
satellite antenna is primarily purchased by customers living in rural areas where local internet is not
available. 120 mile radius coverage is the standard, minimum requirement for travel. Traveling beyond this is
suggested.
Compensation
• $110 -per install- (installation of antenna, running line into home and connect to router)
o Includes installation of – wall, pivot (roof), pipe adaptor (pole) mounts
o ProMaster Technologies to provide mounts to techs at no charge, tech will be responsible for mounts and cable.
When you leave you must return your equipment before your last pay will be issued.
• $90- pole mount & up to 50 ft of trenching (pole & concrete provided by tech)
• $45 – wall fish (if applicable)
• $.50 ft – trenching over 50 ft (if applicable)
• $60 – service call plan sold while on site
• No trip fees- may be discussed on a case-by-case basis
• Volume is controlled by Starlink
Customer Charges-
• Tech to use provided Shopify link in WT to charge customer while on site
• all amounts are in the Shopify app
Work order/ Installation Process Flow
• ProMaster Technologies receives Customers Starlink order w/ schedule date
• ProMaster Technologies office manager will assign to the closest tech
• ProMaster Technologies contacts customer to confirm order and installation date
• Technician contacts customer for ETA & rolls to site to complete installation
• Technician walks property with customer and suggests best placement of antenna
• Technician collects for mount and customs (if applicable) w/ link provided by ProMaster Technologies
• Technician completes the Starlink install
• Technician completes customer education and app set up with customer
• Technician calls into dedicated tech line to verify mount purchase & close order
• Technician to take required photos- all photos to be panned out (distance view)
o Front of building-to show name of company and/ or address
o Antenna placement on building-pan out to capture surrounding area
o Antenna mounted- photo of mount to antenna
o LOS from antenna-showing no trees or building at time of install
o Router placement in building
o POE outside & inside
o App showing connectivity
o App showing no obstruction
o App showing speed test
o Tech vehicle on site
o Tech self-photo on site
o Shopify receipt
o Capture customer signature
• Technician to advise customer they will receive a call from Starlink support about their installation
Install requirements
• Clean & neat opening for POE inside & outside
• Using a faceplate or grommet on both inside & outside at POE
• Ensure antenna mount is secured and tightly mounted
• Cleaning up site of any debris from install
• Tech to be courteous, professional and have a professional appearance
• Bring all required tools and hardware to prevent a reroll
• No obstructions per app
• If NLOS or obstructions, contact ProMaster Technologies tech line to advise. Provide percentage of obstruction to
determine if installation is possible.
