Welcome to this site of resources dedicated to Latin teachers on all levels! Much of the material found here was created by me recently or during my 34 years in the classroom. I have also included the links to resources I found helpful, valuable, and time-saving. I will strive to continue adding items as they are edited and developed. I hope you find something useful! ~Mark A. Keith

Teaching and Quizzing Vocabulary
Samples from Ecce Romani Book I (Third Edition)
About halfway through my teaching career, I moved to quizzing vocabulary words always in the context of a Latin sentence in which they appeared. I did this for all levels, including upper level and Advanced Placement classes.
Chapter 1
Vocabulary 1 List: a listing from the reading with an explanation of what information the student will be required to provide on the quiz
Vocabulary 1 Quiz: a quiz with sentences from the passage with the full listings provided for the student with some blanks to fill in
Chapter 7
Vocabulary 7 List: a listing from the reading
Vocabulary 7 Quiz: a quiz with sentences from the passage with only blanks for the student to fill in
Chapter 33
Vocabulary 33 List: a listing from the reading
Vocabulary 33 Quiz: a quiz with sentences from the passage with no blanks, but open space, for the students to use to provide all the required information
