Here are your plans for April 22:
5:30 PM - go out for dinner at one of our partner restaurants
7 PM - Prom at the Egyptian theatre! Bring your friends and party like it's 1999....or whenever you were in high school
10 PM - Post-prom with live band at El Jimador
12 PM the next day - post your photos from the photo booth, put your feet up and rest - after all of that dancing last night, you've earned it!
Why throw a prom?
When you're about to graduate from high school, the calendar seems like it is full of Capital Letter Events. There's Graduation, and Senior Skip Day, and the abiding sense that the world is one celebration after another, all starring YOU.
But when is the Big Day once you're a grown-up? When do we get to pick out a corsage, rent a sweet ride, or plan a pre-party dinner with our friends? Who is clamoring for one more picture of US?
The wait is over. It's our turn in the spotlight again, and it will be even better this time around.
Prom night done right
Few American rites of passage carry the lore and nostalgia of prom night, yet despite the hype, prom may not have been the time of your life. From uncomfortable clothing, to dates you're not crazy about, to the pressure to get it all just right, your actual prom may have been a bit of a let down.
So join us on April 22 for Prom Rewind - the redo you didn't even realize you were hoping for.
*take a date you actually like or go with your group of friends
*wear something that makes you feel good
*have a drink without fear of chaperones
