Safety Device assures, that electric Cables are free of Voltage before Works are conducted. It eliminates the danger of a live power cable, as the operator is distanced from both the cable and the spiker.

Loaded with a chisel and a special cartridge, it will be clamped to the cable. From a 10-metre distance, the cartridge is fired via a lanyard. The powerload drives the chisel through the cable, thus discharging any excess electrical energy into the ground below and leaving the cable “dead” and safe to handle.

Compared to other cable-spikers, there are no lengthy tubes or wires, nor a trolley required for transport of the equipment and no electricity nor hydraulic needed.
