= Writing & Editing Team

You can apply to both writing and editing roles if you have strong writing skills and an eye for detail.

▸ Writing Roles:

• Team Writers
  Regular contributors who submit 1–2 pieces (poetry, short stories, or creative nonfiction) per issue/month.

• Guest Writers
  Occasional or one-time contributors for specific themes or features.

• Columnists
  Writers with a recurring niche/topic (e.g. based on the theme of the issue).

• Submission Reviewer
  Reads incoming submissions and helps shortlist them for publication.

• Content Editor
  Works closely with selected writers to revise and refine their drafts — focusing on clarity, tone, and impact.
  
  

= Design Team

Visual storytellers, this is your space!

• Illustrator
  Creates custom artwork or visuals for zine issues and posts.
  
  

• Editorial Designer
  Designs zine layouts using platforms like Canva or InDesign. Works with the EIC and editors to bring visual cohesion.
  
  

• Submissions Manager
  Keeps track of all incoming submissions, maintains spreadsheets, and ensures files are organized for the editorial/design teams.

Help us grow the zine’s voice and reach the right audience.

• Reel Creator
  Makes weekly Instagram reels to promote issues, sneak peeks, or fun behind-the-scenes content.

• Media Curator
  Suggests book, film, and playlist recs that reflect the zine's mood and monthly themes.
