Robust Optical Aerosol Monitor (ROAM Air Quality Monitor or ROAM) is the first locally-made air quality monitor developed by the University of the Philippines Diliman under the leadership of Dir. Len Herald V. Lim, Ph.D. This is possible through the help of the Department of Science and Technology - Philippine Council for Industry, Energy and Emerging Technology Research and Development (DOST-PCIEERD).

ROAM is a cheaper and better alternative to the foreign commercial air quality monitoring devices, and is suitable for the Philippine tropical environment. The monitor costs as little as 1/10th of commercial equivalents to acquire, and the capability of the project team to do local servicing cut costs for maintenance and calibration.
