In this Needs Assessment project, we will conduct a survey for Educators, Pre-K -16, to compile data that will help us identify areas of need. It is designed to capture data that will help guide our work as Digital Leaders.
Our target audience will consist of Pre-K - 16 educators who have a passion for instructional technology. These individuals are sometimes called Digital Practitioners or Digital Leaders. They currently use or want to use instructional technologies. Technology experience can vary from novice to expert with an age range of 21 years or older in the field.
The purpose of this technology needs survey assessment is to identify the strength and areas for growth from educators within pre-k through higher education (16). The data that will be gathered can then be used to develop tailored training programs to address those needs. We want to ensure that educators are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively incorporate technology into their teaching practices. Ultimately, this needs survey serves as a crucial tool for enhancing the integration of technology in education and facilitating the professional development of educators.
