These arrivals are extremely difficult to understand. For the race track it's south approaching STARS that transitions at the SAM VOR then a right-hand turn to enter. It is highly advised to just fly visually as it's easier and much less complicated. I am not entirely sure if I am correct. ATC for all arrivals feel free and please use vectors.

Less complicated arrival. North approach STARS that transition at the SAM VOR follow as shown to the D8.0 then right hand turn for final. ATC for all arrivals feel free and please use vectors.

Again extremely confusing. For south approaching STARS fly to sam VOR then right hand turn to D7.2 and left turn in for final. For north, fly visual and enter the glideslope. ATC for all arrivals feel free and please use vectors.
