Meet Our Founders

Hi! My name is Jasmine Diaz and I am from Nipomo, CA. I am an early childhood educator and a first generation college graduate. My dad is a farm worker, so I know a lot about the struggles children of farm workers face. Me and my siblings were fortunate to have access to many programs and resources to help us be successful. I hope I can do the same for the children in our community.

Hi! My name is Marissa Castañeda, I was born and raised in Santa Maria. I am still attending Allan Hancock College majoring in Early Childhood Studies. My parents previously worked as farm workers. While growing up in our community, I enjoyed doing volunteer work and wanted to do something similar, and this is what my best friend and I thought of. We are for the community, by the community.
