Project Battleship is a naval building and battle game. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected, how it is used, and how players can contact us about their data.

Project Battleship can be played without creating an account. If you play as a guest, your save data is stored locally on your device.
If you choose to create or log in to an account, we may collect and store the following information:
Your email address, used for login and email verification.
Your Firebase user ID, used to identify your account.
Your game save data, including ships, ship names, gold, rare metals, medals, progress, cloud save timestamps, and related save information.
Basic technical information processed by Google Firebase services for authentication, security, and cloud save functions.
We use this information to:
Let you create and log in to your account.
Verify your email address.
Save and restore your game progress.
Sync your save data between your device and cloud save.
Protect your account and prevent unauthorised access.
Provide basic account and cloud save features.
If you play without logging in, your save data is stored locally on your device.
If you log in to an account, your account save may be stored locally on your device and may also be synced to cloud save using Firebase Firestore when internet access is available.
If you are offline, the game may continue saving locally on your device. Cloud sync will only work when internet access is available.
Project Battleship uses Google Firebase services, including Firebase Authentication and Firebase Firestore, to provide account login, email verification, and cloud save features.
Project Battleship also contains an external Discord invite/link. If you open this link, you will leave the game and access Discord. Discord has its own privacy policy and data practices.
We do not sell your personal information.
Project Battleship does not intentionally collect:
Your precise location.
Your contacts.
Your photos or videos.
Your microphone recordings.
Your camera data.
Your financial information.
Your health information.
Your private messages or communications.
Project Battleship does not currently include third-party advertising.
Project Battleship is currently free to download.
The game does not currently include advertisements.
If advertisements or in-app purchases are added in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated before or when those features are added. If in-app purchases are added in the Google Play version, they will be handled through Google Play Billing where required.
We may share or process data with service providers needed to operate the game, such as Google Firebase for account and cloud save features.
We may also disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the safety, security, and rights of users, the app, or the developer.
We use account-based access controls and Firebase security rules to help protect cloud save data.
However, no method of electronic storage or internet transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Guest save data is stored locally on your device. You can remove guest save data by clearing the app data or uninstalling the app.
Account cloud save data is stored while your account is active.

We may need enough information to verify the account before deleting account-related data.
A future version of Project Battleship may add an in-app or website-based account deletion option.
Project Battleship is intended for a general audience and is not specifically directed at children below the age required by applicable law.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below the required age. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us so we can review and delete the information where appropriate.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the effective date on this page.
