Preparing a Diverse Cadre of Early Childhood and Special Education Teachers in Applied Behavior Analysis
Project ABA, at the University of Central Florida, is a Personnel Preparation Grant funded by the Office of Special Education Programs that prepares graduate students seeking national certification through the Behavior Analysis Certification Board (BACB).
Project ABA extends financial and academic support to individuals pursuing a Master's Degree in either Exceptional Student Education (ESE) or Early Childhood Development and Education (ECDE) and a Graduate Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
The 21 credit hour program, housed within the Special Education Program in the School of Teacher Education, fulfills the coursework requirements of the Behavior Analyst Certification Board®. Project ABA Scholars receive 36 credit hours of funding throughout the program, personalized faculty support, and supervised clinical experience.
