The Progenitors

Azalea (Aster Franklin)

C-Rank Adventurer (First Appearance Chapter 1)

Weapon: Long spear, magic

Likes: Farming, Cooking

Dislikes: Dueling, Toxic Players

Bio: Logs in with her friend and boss, Caius. Azalea wasn't sure she'd like this game at first but agreed to try it temporarily with Caius.  To her surprise, she found the game quite enjoyable and spends most of her time tending to her farms and running a food stall at Flower's Rest. She's fiercely loyal to her friends and guildmates, and while not a master with the spear, can be frightening if she gets angry enough.

Caius (Dale Lawson)

C-Rank Adventurer (First Appearance Chapter 1)

Weapon: Longsword, Shield

Likes: Fighting, Strategy

Dislikes: Real Life, Most Life Skills

Bio: Paralyzed from the neck down in real life, Dale finds enjoyment in VR Gaming, where he can move his body once again. He's a hardcore player, addicted to challenging and complex combat. He'll help Azalea out from time to time with her chores but prefers to be out on the road or in a dungeon, finding new enemies to fight. With his previous martial arts experience, Caius is a real threat in any combat situation and regularly survives encounters that would wipe out other players.

Riley (Blaine Espinoza)

C-Rank Adventurer (First Appearance Chapter 2)

Weapon: Quarterstaff, Unarmed

Likes: Fighting, Food

Dislikes: Guard Duty

Bio: A content creator in real life, Blaine uses his character Riley to tell a story, sticking to a strict code of morals and ethics when he fights alongside The Progenitors. He enjoys a good fight, but prefers spending the majority of his time exploring and finding new areas. He'll go out of his way to hunt PKers, and is willing to help any new player that needs assistance. With his quarterstaff, agility, and powerful unarmed attacks, he excels in flanking attacks and protecting the squishier players in his parties.

Oscar (Zeke el-Wali)

C-Rank Adventurer (First Appearance Chapter 2)

Weapon: Longbow, Hand Crossbows, Dual Daggers

Likes: Hunting, Coffee

Dislikes: Crowds, Loud Noises

Bio: Zeke el-Wali was adopted by an American family at a young age, and introduced to VR gaming. He took to MMOs and RPGs like a bird to water, and, combined with his skill in writing, grew to be a famous name in game critique. When he was invited to join Project Terra, he expected it to be a simple game, but was pleasantly surprised. He spends most of his time away from his home in-game hunting, selling his trophies and drops to assist The Progenitors.

Sisters of the Night

Kyraa (Evelynn Klein)

C-Rank Adventurer (First Appearance Chapter 10)

Weapon: Magic, Summoning

Likes: Monsters, Control

Dislikes: ???

Bio: Kyraa likes being in control. Whether that be with the monsters and spirit she summons with her magic or the players that join her guild, it doesn't matter. She's a boss, and she knows it. Anyone who tries to intervene in her affairs will regret it, and she'll make sure of that personally. Leader of the Sisters of the Night guild, she's enjoyed great success so far in Project Terra, and has her sights set even higher. She's not against teaming up with other guilds and players, but her real ambition is to become the most influential guild, and she's willing to make any fight or choice that will get her there.

Alasta (Alasta)

C-Rank Adventurer (First Appearance Chapter 10)

Weapon: Large Shield, Longsword

Likes: Sweets, Reading

Dislikes: Rude people, PKers

Bio: Kind and selfless at heart, Alasta likes being of help to her fellow players. She's shy and timid, a nature at complete odds with her chosen role in RPGs and MMOs. She likes donning heavy armor and diving in front of danger to protect her friends, even if is at great personal cost to herself. For this reason, she's always eager to join up with a guild and take part in battles where she can put her protective skills to good use. She just won't fight other players unless it's to defend a friend.

Tankbabe (Tanya Fraser)

C-Rank Adventurer (First Appearance Chapter 10)

Weapon: Large round shield, Longsword

Likes: Flowers, Cool Outfits

Dislikes: Lifeskills

Bio: Tankbabe can be best described as a hardcore player and a loot goblin. She loves collecting extra pieces of equipment that look cool. Conversely, she'll equip any gear that has better stats, regardless of whether or not it matches what she's wearing. A true tank at heart, she likes heavy armor, and is learning healing magic to heal and buff herself in future fights. She's currently registered with the Sisters of the Night guild, but she views herself as more of a mercenary than a true member.

Bubbles (Emily Rosewood)

C-Rank Adventurer (First Appearance Chapter 10)

Weapon: Potions, Magic

Likes: Experimenting, Science

Dislikes: ???

Bio: They often say those blessed with a keen mind are sometimes unstable. Well, that's a good word for Bubbles. While not truly chaotic, she does love her experiments, and will often be found brewing new and strange tinctures, which she loves testing out on other people. Whether explosive bombs or poisonous potions, she wields many dangerous weapons in her arsenal. She's with Sisters of the Night, but only because their success as a guild allows her funds and a place to do alchemy. She's already on thin ice with them for testing potions out on her guildmates.

Centrogen (Virola Caligula)

Fluffypie (Ye Fufu)

C-Rank Adventurer (First Appearance Chapter 10)

Weapon: Support Magic

Likes: Cake, Dancing

Dislikes: Fighting Players

Bio: Fluffypie's about as cute as they come. He doesn't like fighting other players, but he will lend his support to others as they fight monsters. But what he enjoys most of all is napping in front of a warm fire and eating sweets. He's got an impressive repertoire of support and healing magicks at his disposal, which he uses to protect his friends. He joined Sisters of the Night early in Project Terra, as they unanimously voted to adopt him, in spite of their rule of having only female members. He now serves as their official mascot and battle buddy.

Fangs of the Frontier

RocketQueen (Petra Bogdanov)

C-Rank Adventurer

Weapon: Unarmed, Explosive Magic

Likes: Fighting, Drinking

Dislikes: Strategy, Lifeskills

Bio: Rocketqueen lives for the challenge of the fight. The greater the odds against her are, the happier she is, even if she doesn't make it out one hundred percent of the time. She's in it for the thrill, basically. She combines her particular rushing attack style with some powerful explosive magic for a deadly effect, and her flanking tactics carry her through many situations that might bring other weaker adventurers down. She's hot-headed, sure, and more reckless than most people could handle. She fully expected to go solo, but was pleasantly surprised to meet Laf, a player who shares her values. Together, they make the ultimate strike team, Fangs of the Frontier.

Laf (Fal Laf)

C-Rank Adventurer

Weapon: Two large shields

Likes: Fighting, Drinking

Dislikes: Strategy, Reading

Bio: Rush in, block all the attacks, power through the enemy, and achieve total victory. That's Laf's personal style, and so far it's done him well in fights. Getting along with party members is a challenge he faces often, however, with his general disregard for strategy and patience. But now he doesn't have to worry about that, teamed up with RocketQueen, a woman as reckless as he. Others actually think that they're siblings with how in sync they fight, but it's really just a happy coincidence that they met in-game.

Nobody

Tsubasa (Montague Gage)

B-Rank Adventurer

Weapon: Daggers, Throwing Knives

Likes: Stealth, PKing

Dislikes: Everyone but Alexandra/Asami

Bio: The very definition of edge. With a horrific and traumatic backstory in real life, he channels that energy into the games he plays, where he specializes in assassin work. It would be an understatement to say he doesn't play well with others, even going so far as to refuse to talk. He gestures with his long tail when necessary, and refuses to treat anyone as an ally or teammate, save for Asami. Even when she hires other players for challenges, he doesn't speak. Asami understands him already, and that's enough.

Asami (Alexandra Gage)

B-Rank Adventurer

Weapon: Mana Threads

Likes: Magic, Alchemy

Dislikes: Everyone but her brother Montague/Tsubasa

Bio: Escaping from a terrible orphanage early in life with her adopted brother Motnague, Alexandra had to learn some hard skills in life just to survive. In-game playing as Asami, it is no different. Her knowledge of fighting tactics is already top-notch, which serves her well in the game. She's determined to play only with her brother, but will occasionally recruit other players if the challenge demands it. Otherwise, she'll go on PK work with her brother, killing other players and even Terrians for money.

Market Street

Jordine (Kira Grace)

C-Rank Adventurer (First Appearance Chapter 15)

Weapon: Magic

Likes: Trading, Bookkeeping

Dislikes: Fighting, PKers

Bio: Born to two parents who co-owned a stall in the local farmer's market, Kira was never fond of the hard work involved in growing and harvesting crops, but loved interacting with people at the stall and selling goods. She was a natural saleswoman even at a young age, and channels this talent into the games she plays, where she goes as Jordine. She's the leader of Market Street, a guild of merchants and lifeskillers who focus on a peaceful existence and the fun art of trading.

TuathaDan (Sean Mallory)

C-Rank Adventurer (First Appearance Chapter 10)

Weapon: Large Hatchet

Likes: Lifeskilling, Carpentry

Dislikes: Fighting, Long Quests

Bio: Sean is a busy man, and has very little time for gaming. So when he does get to log on for an hour or two a day, he prefers to dedicate that time toward crafting items and not fighting or going on long quests. He likes working in a guild that tolerates his low playtime, creating items for them to use or sell. If pressed, he'll defend himself with the heavy hatchet he carries, but he generally tries to stay out of the way of any potential combat. He's the principal lumberjack and papermaker for Market Street.
