Conclusion
Water is essential for a wide variety of everyday activities, so needless to say, water pollution is devastating to life in Vietnam. Contaminated water drives away or even kills marine animals and plants, resulting in a decreased quantity and quality of marine products. It is also an ideal environment for diseases to dwell in and spread, causing most cases of disease in Vietnam. Despite the numerous negative effects of water pollution on various aspects of society, the majority of people in the survey, including expats, only have a very basic understanding of it. The issue must be fixed or at least alleviated before the damage it causes becomes irreversible, but we cannot count on the promised projects and plans supposedly completed in the near future alone. We must take this matter into our own hands right now in the present, or the people of Vietnam and future generations will not look forward to the future, if there is any.
