Who We Are
KitKind is a youth-led nonprofit organization dedicated to delivering essential medical kits to underserved communities. We believe that access to basic health and hygiene resources—like bandages, antiseptics, and over-the-counter medicine—should never be a privilege. One small kit can bring comfort, dignity, and healing to someone in need.
Our Story
KitKind started with a simple question:
“Why do so many people still lack the most basic medical care?”
What began as a school project turned into a growing movement led by students who care deeply about equity, compassion, and practical help. We saw the power of small things—like a sealed pouch of bandages or a tube of antiseptic—and decided to act. With the support of volunteers, donors, and community partners, we began assembling and distributing kits to shelters, outreach programs, and low-income families.
Today, we’re expanding our efforts with local chapters, school partners, and a growing team of youth leaders.
What’s in a KitKind Medical Kit?
Here are some of the things the kit contains: assorted bandages, antiseptic wipes, hand sanitizer, gauze pads, pain relief tablets, cotton, and a reusable pouch or box.
Our Vision
To mobilize youth across the country to create, fund, and deliver health kits that protect lives, promote dignity, and empower communities.
