Our Mission

At Project HER we strive to empower women. Everyone has the right to clean, dignified care and we want to ensure that all women receive the attention that they deserve.

According to Period, 1 in 4 American students have been unable to afford period products. In addition, 14.2% of women have reported some form of period poverty. For several of these women, feminine hygiene products are difficult to afford, causing some to resort to using unsanitary alternatives that can lead to extremely unsafe and potentially life-threatening infections. No woman should have to choose between their health and other basic necessities.

As we recover from the COVID pandemic, it is paramount that we continue raising awareness about this issue.
