Community Impact

Project Helix is committed to expanding access to science education through free, student-created resources. To date, Project Helix has distributed educational zines to public libraries and is actively working to broaden its community reach through partnerships with nonprofit organizations, libraries, and schools.

Global Pitch Session

As part of this effort, Project Helix has presented its mission and educational materials during a pitch session -- hosted by Returnees Hotline -- to community organizations, sharing its goals for increasing access to science education and exploring opportunities for collaboration and resource distribution.

Project Helix is continuing to build relationships with youth organizations, libraries, and nonprofits to support meaningful, community-centered educational outreach.

December 29, 2025

Project Helix zines delivered to Vinson Library for review and approval consideration.

January 08, 2026

Notified of internal approval from Vinson Library to distribute educational zines to patrons, and all previously delivered zines were utilized by library patrons. Confirmed further collaboration with Vinson.
